Usage:
For accurate position determination of workpiece surfaces or tool lengths in the Z direction on milling or turning machines. The device is placed on the workpiece. Then, with the tool stationary, carefully drive onto the device until both pointers on the dial gauge indicate "0". The reference dimension of 4 inches to the workpiece has now been reached. Thanks to a safety spring travel, the zero adjustment device also runs over a max. 0.075" out.

Execution:
A version with built-in magnets is also available so that the zero setter can also be mounted sideways.
